Arisaema triphyllum

This is one of the two native American arisaemas, the other being A.dracontium.

	The three leaflets on each leaf explain why this arisaema is called "triphyllum." Strangely (and contrary to the name), there are varieties of A. triphyllum eith five-leaflets in each leaf.
